Condition inspection of promenade
The Eastern Beach Promenade is a semi-circular, 320 metre long, timber deck on piles structure that curves around the Geelong Waterfront. The original structure was built in the late 1930s and later subject to a significant rehabilitation campaign in the early 1990s due to its deteriorating condition.
AWM were engaged to complete a visual inspection of the timber piles (utilizing diving services) and provided short to medium term maintenance recommendations.
