The Nelson Bay Unloading Wharf is a key part of the local fishing industry and located in a marine park in the pristine waters of Port Stephens. AW Maritime was pleased to assist SMC Marine in the delivery of the extension of the existing wharf. The project consisted of driven steel piles, reinforced concrete deck, timber fender piles and services.
AW Maritime provided full time site engineering services to assist the SMC team to deliver the project. This included day-to-day project management, on-site technical guidance, temporary works design and QA documentation.
