Tallebudgera Boat Ramp and Pontoon
AW Maritime were engaged by SMC Marine to design a new boat ramp to upgrade the existing waterway access facilities at Murlong Cresent, Palm Beach QLD. The accessibility of the site was enhanced through the incorporation of a new strip of asphalt at the ramp crest to tie into the existing approach. The project also included a new rotomolded pontoon which was installed adjacent to the new boat ramp, on the western side.
As part of the project AWM undertook design work including:
- Demolition of the existing boat ramp
- New single lane boat ramp
- New abutment & adjustments to existing abutment of floating walkways
- New concrete slab & asphalt extension
