Grantville Seawall Design
Bass Coast Shire Council engaged AW Maritime to undertake the design of a new rock revetment in front of the existing sea wall at the end of Pier Road in Grantville. The site is located on the eastern coast of Westernport Bay with waves from the north attacking the foreshore which has led to the deterioration of the existing sea wall.
AWM undertook the design of a new rock revetment and incorporated analysis of swell and existing structures within Westernport Bay to identify the best outcome for the project.
