St Kilda Pier Low Landing Dredging, VIC

Amendment to Existing Dredging MaCA Consent

Due to the St Kilda Pier Redevelopment project a new pier and low landing was constructed adjacent to the existing pier. Upon its demolition, dredging will be required to provide a safe water depth alongside the new low landing for vessel operations. The repositioning of the low landing requires the dredging footprint to be adjusted from the existing 10 Year Bay Maintenance Dredging Program consent.

AWM was engaged by Parks Victoria to obtain an amendment to its existing 10 year maintenance dredging contract for St Kilda Harbour. AWM’s scope included updating dredge design drawings to accommodate the new St Kilda Pier and Lower Landing (also designed by AWM), managing environmental fieldwork, and preparing and submitting the MACA Consent application on behalf of Parks Victoria.
