The extension of the existing northern breakwater at Portarlington, and the construction of a new eastern breakwater, has recently been completed by Australian Project Solutions. AW Maritime completed the detailed design of these breakwaters, and assisted Parks Victoria during construction by providing technical support and quality assurance services. The breakwaters, together with the new loadout jetty and pier also designed by AW Maritime, will provide an expanded safe harbour for the commercial fishing fleet of Portarlington.
