Construction of the Broome Town Beach Jetty is progressing well with 60% of the main jetty complete and work on the lower landing scheduled to start once the main jetty is completed.  AW Maritime is working closely with SMC Marine on the construction sequencing, and temporary and permanent works design to facilitate the safe and practical construction of the new 112m long jetty. Due to the massive tidal range of over 10m, the third largest in the world, the construction methodology is key to the success of this iconic project.

The jetty is part of the renewal of the Town Beach precinct and will complete the $24 million overhaul of one of Broome’s most scenic and important locations.
