AW Maritime were commissioned to investigate the feasibility and associated costs to invest in the development of a new shiplift for Bell Bay including some of the components from the existing one at Launceston. Our scope of services were:
- Reviewing the available information
- Confirming shiplift configuration
- Establishing the best location for the facility
- Concept design- primarily the concept layout, typical sections and sizes of major members of the shiplift confirming the key operatinal dimensions and levels
- Updating the indicative costs.
