AW Maritime completed a high-level coastal management study on the condition of 30 year old timber groynes along the beach at Capel Sound on the Mornington Peninsula. The accretion of sand on the access paths and around the boat sheds at the Eastern end of the beach and the potential impact of sand deposit from dredging the boat ramp was considered as part of the study.
