Pioneer River Floating Pontoon
AW Maritime were engaged by SMC Marine to design the proposed pontoon at Bluewater Quay in Mackay. The design is the functional and structural design of the pontoon, pontoon restraint piles, gangway and reinforced concrete abutment deck structure for the proposed facility.
AW Maritime also undertook design and construction certification for the pontoon and gangway at Bluewater Quay, Pioneer River Mackay. AWM confirmed the new pontoon and gangway was constructed in accordance with the design and good construction practice. The infrastructure certified included the pontoon, gangway and fixed platform.
