AW Maritime were engaged by VRCA to provide engineering services to assist with the ladder refurbishment program to beacons at the Geelong Inner Harbour Channels. The works included ladder refurbishment which involved their removal and transport to shore for grit blasting and application of a new coating system or the supply, installation of fabrication new lower ladders. An inspection of all ladders was required to determine whether ladders would be refurbished or replaced.
