Hampton Pier Rebuild
AW Maritime were engaged to assist Parks Victoria as the Lead Consultant for the Hampton Pier Rebuild Project at Sandringham Harbour.
Together with our key subconsultants, North Projects and Tract Consultants, AW Maritime worked in collaboration with the team to deliver this project to meet our clients’ objectives through good design principles, value engineering workshops and sustainable development. The inclusion of a pontoon will further enhance the functionality of the pier by providing water entry and exit for recreational activities.
The pier and pontoon structures will be designed to meet Australia DDA access criteria to ensure everyone will be able to enjoy the new pier and have accessibility to the water. AW Maritime managed the design, authority approvals, cost estimating and project controls scope during the design, tender and construction phases.
The project is due for completion in late 2025.
